For friends don’t know how to instal Windows and Ubuntu
VirtualBox in Backtrack, I will show the tutorial for you.
How to instal Windows VirtualBox
- click application launcher menu, in the left under corner the Desktop, choose system then click Oracle VM VirtualBox(Virtual Machine), so will appear display likes under this so click button New, and click Next:
- So will appear display likes under this, and than input the name of OS, click Next:
- Will appear display likes under this, arrange memori of RAM for OS virtual, and than click Next :
- Choose Create new hardisk, click Next
- Choose VDI(VirtualBox Disk Image), click Next
- Choose Dynamically Allocated, click Next
- Arrange allocation of disk for OS,appropriated need, click Next
- So will display like under this, and than click Create
- And than click Create again
- After that chosse the OS virtual and than click button Start
- So will display likes under this, and than click Next :
- After that browse file iso from winxp, with click button folder :
- After that click button Next, so will display likes under this and than click Start
14. After press button Start
so automatically will direc install windows in general
For Ubuntu VirtualBox the step same exactly with make
Windows VirtualBox, just defferent ISO file, for Ubuntu in browse file choose
ISO file of Ubuntu
To connect the network between virtualbox windows with
backtrak, click button setting
After that choose the network, in attached to choose
Host-only Adapter,and than click OK
And than click file choose the preferences, choose network
after that click icon button host-only and OK
After that run the virtualBox winXP, choose startà
run à
type cmd, and than type ipconfig ( for detect IP address)
After that do ping from the virtualBox, type “ping
xxx.xxx.xx.x (x = IP addres in backtrak), if “replay” so connections
